The Attorney-General's Chambers have returned the investigation papers into the police shooting of 14-year-old Aminulrasyid Amzah.

With this, the police would have to continue probing the case, although they have wrapped up investigations earlier today.

NONE When contacted, attorney-general Abdul Gani Patail said he had given "certain directions" to the police regarding the additional information needed in the investigations.

"They came to see me for my opinions and directions on the case," he said.

"Directions have been given and they have been asked to continue investigations.

"Hence the investgation papers (have been returned) to the police. They came with the file and left with the file," he said.

Abdul Gani refused to divulge details regarding what kind of "directions" he had given the police.

NONE Earlier, the police confirmed that investigation papers have been submitted to the Attorney-General's Chambers for further action.

Selangor police chief Khalid Abu Bakar told Malaysiakini , that the police had wrapped up its probe on the death of the teenager, which had caused much public outcry.

Aminulrasyid was shot dead in the wee hours of Monday morning which he was travelling in a car with a friend.
